VEX IQ Robotics
A hands-on STEM camp for students aged 9–15 who want to do more than sit at a desk this summer.
Using the VEX IQ educational robotics platform, students work in pairs or small teams to design, build and programme a working robot. Across the week, they take on a series of engineering challenges that introduce mechanical design, motors, sensors, block-based coding, testing, debugging and teamwork.
The course builds from first principles to a competitive Friday finale. Students learn how to turn an idea into a physical machine, test it, improve it, and explain their design decisions clearly. Along the way, they develop computational thinking, problem-solving, resilience and confidence in a genuinely exciting environment.
This camp runs as a full-day programme across the first two weeks of August, a popular slot for families who travel later in the summer.
Maximum 10 students. Lunch is included each day, with a pizza lunch for the Friday competition finale. Dietary requirements and allergies will be confirmed with parents in advance.
